A very short summer in the arctic.
This animation is created with images between 3rd to 10th June, 2019
from MODIS on the Aqua satellite. During this period in the arctic Lena delta,
relatively warm water flows towards the Laptev sea, an arm of arctic ocean and
awakens the delta. The delta remains a frozen tundra for seven months annually.
